About Me

I’m Daniela Fedele, an Argentine visual artist with over twenty years dedicated to painting.

My work moves between figuration and abstraction, with nature and organic forms as a starting point. I primarily work with acrylics and inks on canvas and paper, exploring color, transparency, and texture.

Throughout my career, I have participated in exhibitions and art fairs such as BADA, the Borges Cultural Center, the Rómulo Raggio Museum, and Art & Design Gallery in Miami, among other venues.

My works are part of private collections in Argentina, the United States, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Uruguay.

My work is born from a personal perspective on nature. I am interested in capturing the emotions that flowers, their leaves, structures, and forms evoke in me, and even, I dare say, their fragrance.

I do not seek to represent them literally. I transform them to create images where fragility, vitality, and movement coexist, in a space that moves between the figurative and the abstract.

I work intuitively, building each piece through layers, transparencies, color, and texture. The initial image often transforms throughout the process, giving way to something unexpected.

There are moments of control and others in which I allow the inks and acrylics to find their own paths. This dialogue between intention and chance continues until the work finds its balance and develops an expression of its own.

In my painting, nature is not a destination: it is a way of beginning.

Daniela Fedele.
